How to Repair Databases in cPanel

In this guide, we will discuss how to rectify databases in cPanel. If your website encounters the following errors, you can use cPanel to verify and restore the database.

1) The cpaneluser_database has crashed and must be restored.

2) Verifying the database

If you encounter the above errors, follow the steps below to verify and repair the database in cPanel.

 

Verifying the Database

1) Log in to the cPanel interface.

2) Click on the ‘MySQL Database’ icon in the ‘DATABASE’ section.

3) In the ‘Modify Databases’ section, select the database from the dropdown menu.

4) Choose the required database name and click on ‘Check Database’.

Restoring the Database

1) Go back to the ‘MySQL Database’ menu.

2) Look for the database in the dropdown menu.

3) Select the necessary database name.

4) Click on ‘Repair Database’.

5) Once the repair is successful, refresh the website.

 

How to Verify and Repair Database in phpMyAdmin

1) Access the cPanel interface.

2) Click on the ‘phpMyAdmin’ icon.

3) Select the database by clicking on it in the left menu.

4) The tables are displayed on the right side. Choose the “Check All” option and click on “Check Table” from the dropdown menu.

5) After checking the table, the results will be shown on the screen, displaying “OK” if everything is fine. If any corrupt tables are found, the repair option will be available.

How to Restore Your Tables

1) Log in to the cPanel interface.

2) Click on the ‘phpMyAdmin’ icon.

3) Select the database by clicking on it in the left menu.

4) The tables are listed on the right side. Choose the “Check All” option and click on “Repair Table” from the dropdown menu.

5) A summarized report with the results will be displayed.
