The management of domains in the cPanel Jupiter theme

Additional Domains,” “Alternate Names,” and “Subsites” were phased out in cPanel version 100 and have been eliminated in version 106. The functionality of those interfaces has been combined into the “Fields” interface.

This documentation will illustrate how to establish “Additional Domains,” “Alternate Names,” and “Subsites” in cpanel Jupiter theme.

Added Domain

1. Log in to cPanel on the account to append the domain on.

2. Go to “Fields” under the “Fields” segment.

3. Select the “Create A New Domain” button.

4. Enter the domain name to append in the “Domain” text box.

5. Uncheck the “Share document root (/home/username/public_html) with “domain.tld”.” option.

6. Input the folder where you want the files for this domain to exist.

7. Click the “Submit” button.

Alternate Name / Parked Domain

1. Log in to cPanel on the account to append the domain on.

2. Go to “Fields” under the “Fields” segment.

3. Select the “Create A New Domain” button.

4. In the “Domain” text box, input the domain name to append as an alternate name.

5. Confirm that the “Share document root (/home/username/public_html) with “domain.tld”.” option is selected.

6. Click the “Submit” button.

Subsite

1. Log in to cPanel on the account to append the domain on.

2. Go to “Fields” under the “Fields” segment.

3. Select the “Create A New Domain” button.

4. Enter the subsite name to append in the “Domain” text box.

5. Uncheck the “Share document root (/home/username/public_html) with “domain.tld”.” option.

6. Input the folder where you want the files for this domain to exist.

7. Click the “Submit” button.
